PLUMBAGO AURICULATA = PLUMBAGO CAPENSIN
Plan to use for our balconies, flower boxes, gardens during the summer.
It is also found in white color, but the blue color that tends to a grey, leaden, is the characteristic from which it may derive its name.
It seems to have healing properties as you can read below.
It seems that by chewing the root of plumbago is to stimulate salivation and to be effective against the sore teeth: the teeth, however, will tend to darken in color!
Also an old belief assigns to plumbago the ability to treat a not well-specified disease of the eyes which used to be called "plumbus".
